The opening tournament at the Airport bowl saw records tumble. West Yorkshire almost took the team scratch but fell one pin short with 2546, however they did extend their handicap team record to 2747. Chloe Bruton looks a force to be reckoned with as she smashed Carol Gerrards long standing record in the ladies all events with 1782. For once Steve Howat was out of the running so John Greathead made the most of it by winning the all events. Onto Thames Valley for the next event.
