Mark did not attend the meeting so no report was made. A report will try and be available for the Met tournament
The Committee agreed to stand again and were
elected unopposed.
The Committee is as follows;

6. PROPOSALS
Strathclyde tournament
Steve Howat proposed holding a Strathclyde Order of Merit tournament in
2007 to include the National Singles.
After much discussion it was decided that the preferred option would be
to hold the event in early July dependent on Scottish school holidays. As soon as the date is confirmed it will be
circulated to all.
Jon Greengrass mentioned that there is an open invitation to the Swedish,
Danish police championships in April. If
you wish to bowl please see Jon.

The dates for the 2008 tournaments are as follows;

PSUK it was suggested that consideration be given by the PSUK Indoor
Committee to move the Ten Pin bowling event to a proper bowling centre rather
than Potters due to the ongoing problems with the lane conditions and the fact
they only have 6 lanes. Tom Walsh will
discuss this at the December PSUK meeting.
ii.
It was discussed whether there needs to be a formal selection process for
the Interservices Challenge. It was
decided that forces discuss this process and report at the Met tournament. It
was discussed and decided that an open invitation be given to the Services to
compete at our tournaments.
iii.
Tim Matthews asked whether additional team trophies for 2nd
and 3rd in Order of Merit could be purchased as we had additional
funds. This was voted on and agreed
unanimously.

Jon Greengrass discussed whether we could adopt a fundraising scheme on
behalf of Children In Need as the
v.
Roger Smith queried whether the maximum entry fee was £100 per team, this
was in fact the minimum price.
